Over at our site indiewall.com/library.html you can now read the first chapter of Tina Field Howe's book entitled "Alysa of the Fields" and a chapter from Stephen Christian's book entitled "The Orphaned Anything"

Alysa Synopsis:Hidden deep in the mountains of planet Xunar-kun, the Field Folk clan believed themselves to be the only remaining people, other than the distant Trailmen, to inhabit their devastated world. They were wrong. In realizing her individuality, Alysa - a young woman of the Folk - risks all to save her people from certain peril. As a result, long-hidden truths are revealed, age-old hatreds are healed, and Alysa leads her people to a new way of life.

Tina Field Howe has been writing poetry/lyrics, short stories, screenplays, business communications and web content for many years. Alysa of the Fields, Book One in the Tellings of Xunar-kun, is her first novel, with Book Two due out summer 2008.
