The author has a good website, which you can visit with a click here. The story line consists of a bio-warfare unit that is called into action after terrorists release a deadly virus in the Los Angeles area. The death rate multiplies and the unit is hard at work trying various theories as to what this virus is and how to cure it. The author is an M.D. and takes you on a good learning lesson of nanotechnology, as well as a brief review of what other bio-chemical weapons would due to the nervous systems of people. This book was a great page-turner and was one of those that was truly hard to put down. I really enjoyed this one a lot and it was very predictable-a few interesting twists and turns that I certainly didn't predict. Sleeper Cell is the author's first major work, it was defnitely worth the $5.85 that I paid for it at Wally-world.
