1898-1979 Writer and journalist reporter,Kessel as a wide range of sujets.From the montain of Afghanistan with the horsemen to the plain of Kenya with the lion,or the story of the french aeropostal with Mermoz.If not a great autor,his books are well written,and entertaining.
I specialy recommande the Horsemen the story of Bushkazi player,(a sort of polo with a goat instead of a ball!)and the long odessey of a man injured trying to reach home.It was made into a movie with Omar Sharif
The lion is also good,story of a friendship betwin a young girl and a lion,(a good young adult ficton)
There also a good few non fictions

So I just did a google and discovered he is the author of the novel which was made into Belle De Jour (Luis Bunuel) starring the eternally stunning Catherine Deneuve. I've been Now I've learned something new today. Thank you.

Thomas is good.Deneuve was specialy beautifull is this film!
