Katherine Dunn: Geek Love

Has anyone read Katherine Dunn's Geek Love? I do not know if I should add it to my book list (future reading). Amazon gives it top reviews. What do you think...is it good reading?

This book remains in my TBR pile. I have heard rave reviews from some of the brightest (and funniest) of the people I know. (I did try to read it once, quite a while ago, but I guess I just wasn't in the mood.) I say, go for it, and let us know what you think. Also, you might 'search' to see if it has been discussed here. I have a suspicion that it may have been.

I've been meaning to pick that up whenever I'm at the bookstore. But I could say that about plenty of other books .

[Dogmatix]

I have read this book and can recommend it. The characters are great and they'll surprise you. Puts a real twist on the common misconception that "freaks" are people to be pitied. There are some classic jerks in this book.
