i've heard of this before but never tried it. the first 4 actors i entered were all connected to bacon through the woodsman (which i haven't seen). i almost thought it was a glitch
 
I tried various Polish actors and they all worked (including Eugeniusz Bodo, who was killed in 1940). However, Jorge Enrique Abello didn't :) I've won! :D

By the way, in many cases I had link through Colin Firth and the film from 2005. Is it fair play?
 
That's called Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, and it's been around at least 10 years. Back when it started I heard him interviewed on the radio about it and he was very good natured, even though at that time the website running it was called The Pig, which was their name for him. I thought he was very nice about the whole thing.

BTW, named of course after the play Six Degrees of Separation. The idea is you can do the same thing with anybody, not just Bacon.

Hey Martin, I met Kevin Bacon a few years ago in a bookstore near my house. We were both with our kids and looking at the kids' books. When he was married to Kyra Sedgewick they lived the next town over.

I wouldn't mention this, except that you should know that (nonprofessionally) you have two degrees of KB, because I met him and you know me. :) Though I don't think any of us will be doing a movie together.
 
I'll put my name in the thingamajig and to check ot if you're right.

I've never really met a huge star. :(
