Hi
Couple of years back I ran a population control project in India by financially rewarding young women to delay their next pregnancies. There was a 30% drop in fertility.
Despite the best results ever in any voluntary scheme, Government of India would not listen to me so I stopped the project. Now I have put together a draft book on my methodology and rationale.
I would like you to read this book and comment. It is free and hopefully will get widely circulated and someday somebody more capable than me will succeed where I have failed.
Book is linked in my profile but here is a line from the book itself
There is only one original idea in this book and that is
‘It is possible to stop world population growth in a very short time by financially rewarding poor young women to delay pregnancies. No other existing scheme can match the effectiveness of this approach.’
Thank you,
