What a great idea! It took a lot longer than I thought. Here's mine, not including books that are scattered across the house or textbooks.

I would do this....(and I might anyway)...but don't they make you pay when you get past a certain number? It might be worth it because it's such a great site but right now I just use listal because it's free :)
 
Call me a bum, but I prefer to keep an online list on a forum. Even if it does down, you can find the list as the threads are routinely cached. Just a thought, though I do have to say that library thing has a nice set up.
 
I think I'll do that sometime--I was meaning to do another inventory of my books, to keep organized--but it'll take a few hours. There are three bookshelves in my room that reach the ceiling, and I think I ran out of room even on those. I'd better have a HUGE library when I get older, or the library will flow out into the hallway and beyond.
 
LibraryThing is ok... but once you get past 200 you have to pay. I much prefer Listal because I can keep track of not only all my books, but all my music, films, dvds, and games too. :)
 
Grr. I'm mad because it cut me off less than half-way through my library. I didn't realize how many books I had. I'll check out Listal...
 
But while I'm here, it's worth mentioning that I share at least 21 books with Hermione, 12 with jaynebosco, 13 with Peronel, and 11 with FrodoLIVES.
 
I may have to cheat and make up another username (Peronel2, perhaps?) so I can get another 200 up. I assume I can do this..... yes I can.

EDIT: just realised the pointlessness of this idea. Forget I said anything!
 
I just started mine. It's kind of weird, though, because I'm trying to list my music and I don't always buy whole albums. I usually just buy whatever songs I like on iTunes, because that saves money. So I'm constantly trying to think what whole albums I do own, and if I own enough songs from a certain album to count it...

But anyway, it'll take me days to get that thing up-to-date.
 
LT is great. I actually intend to pay for it when I reach 200, and that would be a first for me.
