Looking for a certain time period/genre

I just read A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels by Libba Bray and now I really want to read a book in the 1800's or somewhere around there with a love story in it.

If it has some fantasy in it, then that would be GREAT, but if not then that's fine.

And I highly reccomend anyone to read Libba Bray's books that I mentioned above.

I've heard good things about those books. Don't read Pride and Prejudice! I just posted something else about that book, and I assure you that it is simply awful.

I just finished Stardust by Neil Gaiman, a fantasy book set in or just after the Victorian period. It was awesome.

Some would argue that Dracula would fit into that category, but it's a slow read.

Wuthering Heights is a bit difficult, but highly enjoyable. It's one of the few books from the time period where characters actually have personalities. It's very stormy; that's the only way I can really describe it.

You might try searching for "19th century historical fiction" at the large bookseller's websites. Also look at reviews for these two books and see which books other customers are buying.
