Looking for a children's book from around(?) 2000.

Hi! I'm new here.
I am looking for a book I read when I was around 8. This would be no later than 2003.
Plot:

A young girl, while at her grandmother's home, falls through a crack in the floor and enters a magical world!

Unfortunately, that is really all I remember, but I think there were magic forests and MAYBE the girl had to stop magical evil.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This might be Coraline by Neil Gaiman.

I've read Coraline and she goes through a door, not a crack.

Also, I think the book was probably from the late 80's to late 90's.
