Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Lorna Landvik
I thought this book was really great. I had heard people talking about how it wasn't substantial enough for them, but I think they are wrong. It is the story of a group of women who form a book club in 1968. They range from age 40 down to early/mid twenties. Over the next thirty years their lives change along with political climates and social change. The only thing that remains the same is their monthly meeting to discuss a different book. I enjoyed the concept and the characters. I don't think the book will change any lives, but I certainly recomend it for entertainment value!
