Martha Stewart -Apprentice

I caught the very end of the season opener last night by accident....forgot all about it...and I'm very pissed I missed it now...

The task was to re-write a children's classic fairy tale....Sounds kinda right up this forums alley huh? Certainly up mine.

One team did Hansel and Gretal (spelling?)

Anybody catch this? If you want to check it out you still have time,
CNBC shows a repeat of it tonight at 11:00pm and I think again on Monday....I'll set my vcr for this one.

"The Apprentice: Martha Stewart
CNBC Sep 22 11:00pm
Series/Reality, 60 Mins.

"Once Upon a Time"
The 16 candidates divide into two teams and each must rewrite a classic fairy tale, making the stories relevant to modern children."

I watched it and I liked it actually. I think it's going to become one of those guilty pleasure's for me...lol. (although I can't stand to watch Donald's show) I was glad to see Jeff (wasn't that his name?) was the one to go...although I thought the letter she wrote at the end was a bit cheesy. But then again, polite to the end. And yes , I confess, I am a big Martha fan....sue me :D

How much did they get into the actual writing process? And what was the other story besides H.& G.?

Did they get into any debates on who to target? Children vs. parents kinda thing?

for libra6poe ...bump
How kind of you ;)

So, I'm checking out the candidates on the site since this was the first full episode I've seen.

So, it seems like Matchstick can't get their act together, this being their fourth loss in a row. How horrible.

Leslie volunteered to switch from Primarius to Matchstick, right? I don't think Donald would've let her off the hook for volunteering the way Martha did. But then again, he wouldn't have put up with Dawn's laziness either. Was Dawn always like that?

How were the teams originally divided?

I can't believe Leslie brought Bethenny in to the conference room. I feel that if Leslie had managed their time better, Bethenny would not have had furniture problems.

Martha was scary tonight.
What's her eliminating catch phrase? It's kind of nice that she writes a letter.

Not to be totally outdone by The Donald's firing of 4 people last week, Martha steps up and can's 2 people in one show. Good choices for her too. Both of those idiot women were worthless....except for showing some cleavage and some perkiness  :D

As for Martha's catch phrase....she doesn't really have one...she seems to be trying out new lines every week.

Good thing Leslie's gone. She hasn't performed well for a long while.
I don't like Jim or Bethenny, I doubt either of them will win. Looks like it's between Dawna (who's  boring), Ryan, and Marcela. Marcela probably won't win 'coz she's... I don't know... something. Young? Inexperienced? Not creative enough? But hey, she's cute. :p

I actually liked Marcela. Too bad she went home. Jim & Bethanny are sooo gonna lose. Dawna is way more professional than they. The other guy that went home deserved it. I can't believe he got drunk on the job.
