Spotted this book while out shopping today and bought it due to the interesting subject matter. I've only completed the first chapter, but so far, so good!. The story is based on the famous Battle of Chalons that was the last major military campaign of the western Roman Empire in conjunction with the visigoths. Definitely a good read historically, a great description of weapons and other items is given, not to mention of key personalities such as Flavius Aetius. This is a very reader friendly book where the story just flows right along, two of five stars recommended thus far.
