Musty smell of books

While I was at my parent's house for Thanksgiving, I took some time to go through my old closet. I ended up with a few boxes of books. One of the boxes has that musty book smell to it.

Is there any practical way to get rid of that smell?

You might try tossing a fabric softener sheet in the box and close it up for another week or two. I don't think it would harm the books anyway.

If they can absorb one smell, they can absorb another. You just need to find a stronger smell. One that you can produce sufficient quantities of.

So fart on them.

Now before you 'poo poo' my idea, think about it. People hate the smell of farts, but they don't object to their own. So you won't mind the smell but no one else will want to borrow or steal your books.

Oh, that's it Missy!

Report to the Spankatorium immediately for your punishment.

I'm afraid you've forgotten that my glorious vision hasn't yet become reality and we are still donkey slaves to our vicious squirrel overlords.
