Need Help With "All My Sons"

Excuse me, but I need a little help. I have to write an essay on "All My Sons" by Arthur Miller about the "star of one's honesty", which is a quote found in Act 3 I think. I have to write about Frank, Chris. and Jim but I have no idea what is going on. What is meant by one's "star of honesty" and how does it relate to these 3 characters? Thanks for you time,

"Every man does have a star. The star of one's honesty. You spend your life groping for it but once it's out it never lights again."

'In an era when making monetary profit at whatever human cost is again an international issue, All My Sons is as pertinent today as it was half a century ago. For Arthur Miller, personal honesty was both the greatest necessity and greatest virtue.'

I found those lines in a review about the play. I hope they help you to understand the meaning of 'the star of one's honesty'. I cannot help you on your second question because I have never watched or read the play

Thanks, that helped me a little bit...Still doesn't explain how it relates to the 3 characters, but thanks lol
