I'm in the process of writing a book, and have been trying to make it unique and my own in every way. I am 75 pages in and am toying with the idea of adding another narrator into the book. I want to go back to chapter 2 and add in the other character's POV. I thought about just moving the chapters up adding in the new ones every other chapter or so. Anyway...the problem that i was facing is the new character and the previous chapter's POV.
I don't want to just copy-and-paste a lot of the chapter (when the two characters are talking to each other) how would i go about doing his chapter without doing that? To me that would get boring, i don't want to re-read the previous chapter...does that make any sense?!
What is everyone's thought on that? how would i do that, or would it just be better to continue with the story in the one POV?
HELP!!
