hi. I'm new. lol yeah... so its very hard for me to get into books, but i have an interest in crime books, where detectives (or cops) on a case fall in love with each other (call me a romance fan lol) does any body have any suggestions? I've tried to find books like that, by reading alot and searching on the pc but its hard to search for such a refined catagory. please help me out, thanks! -VelmaJ :cool:
 
Can you think of a book you read before that has what you're looking for? It would help me come up with suggestions.
 
lol well i write alot of fanfiction, with charactures from Law and Order, but i've only read one book about detectives. It was by keating, i never did finish it, but i cant remember the name of it. anything about the relationship between two partners would be great.
 
All right well one that comes to mind right away is Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme series, starting with The Coffin Dancer. There's quite a bit of romantic tension, I thought, between Lincoln Rhyme and his protegee Amelia Sachs. I'll be back later with more.

Ok here's what I turned up in NoveList:

I can't believe I didn't think of this before, but J.D. Robb writes a very popular romantic suspense series where the female detective, Eve Dallas, has to solve a crime, and there is an ongoing relationship with her business partner/boss/lover Roarke. It's set in the not-so-distant future. The first one is called Naked in Death.

Cold Target by Patricia Potter: "Vowing to find the sister she never knew she had, lawyer Meredith Rawson join forces with Detective Gage Gaynor when her search turns dangerous, while her sister Holly, on the run from her controlling husband, desperately seeks a safe haven for her and her young son."

Try searching under "romantic suspense novels" and you may find more. I gave you the ones rated most popular in NoveList.
