New Space Opera - The Honour of the Knights

After a new space opera? Something with the fun, drama and excitement of Babylon 5, Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica? Try giving THE HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS a read.

In a nutshell the novel is about a naval pilot called Simon Dodds who, after a series of usual events, begins to suspect that both the government and the military are involved in a galactic conspiracy.

Google "BATTLE FOR THE SOLAR SYSTEM" for preview chapters and more information.

I've been wondering this for some time, maybe you can enlighten me: why is it that self-published authors who try to hawk their own products almost never mention their name? I mean, if you want me to find your book, wouldn't it make sense to at least put your name out there, not just a fairly generic book title? Or do you think that a one-sentence summary that makes your book sound like every other book like it is enough to make people actively search out your book even if it takes them a while?

heh. Sorry, that wasn't intentional. The anti-spam policies forbid me from adding the links, so I took them out. Forget to put the details back in again afterwards!

Well, at least I didn't create multiple accounts and pretend to be a bunch of people who are absolutely enthralled with it, like happens constantly on BookArmy ;)

Edit: And yet again I didn't mention who am I. You want THE HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS by Stephen Sweeney.

In your old age did you happen to have a Rotweiler for breakfast beer good?:)

Any writer who has the balls to write a book and then publish it. And then with a massive amount of drive tries to market it against the tide of established publishers should be commended!

He's flogging his book in at least 6-7 Waterstones shops - no mean feat.

As Confucias said, "A man who does nothin never makes any mistakes." Are you a man who does nothing but complain beer good? I dont like your comment "hawk" as you've never met him or read his book.

Cut him some slack, I've had the pleasure of reading his book and I'm not friends or family. I met him on Sff Chronicles forum and like alot of the new age authors you have to tip your hat to him for what he's achieved.

Writer Publishers are the future don't knock it!
