October - Horror Month

ions

I know I'm early but I plan the books I'm gonna read fairly well in advance. At least 4 or 5 books. All through October I plan on reading horror. So far I have Palindrome Hannah by Michael Bailey and Stevie's IT selected to read. Given the length of the books, one in particular, I'm not sure I need another for the month but I thought it might be nice to finish the month with something based on Halloween or very Halloween-ish. Any suggestions?

I was thinking of reading Grimm's Grimmest around halloween. I really like a good ghost story and I was thinking of getting the Good House by tananarive Due

Working to rebuild her law practice after her son commits suicide, Angela Toussaint journeys to the family home where the suicide took place, hoping for answers, and discovers an evil force that is driving locals to acts of violence.

Get Thomas Ligotti's collection of short stories.

My library has the Nightmare Factory, and Songs of a Dead Dreamer, but doesn't say anything about them. Is one of these a collection of his short stories?

Hmm, I hadn't yet planned on what to read for October. It's coming quick though. I've heard alot of Palindrome Hannah, so I might see of I can get a copy. I really good scary one would be cool, but sometimes I feel that it's hard to find one. The one I'm reading so far is good, but not scary yet.
