still, halo 2 will be much, much better.

I want Halo 2!!!!!

Never played the new GTA games but they look kewl. I have played the old ones when they were in 2D :D

Heh, that's only because you haven't played Doom3 yet, bobby! It's enough to turn my jaded husband into a sweating, twitching zombie for days! :D I'm not too impressed with the television ads for GTA (every*#@% five minutes!) Boy, they'd better sell a BUNCH of those games to pay for those prime-time slots!

cathy c, when I went to pick up my copy of san andreas there was a line out the door at least two-hundred feet long. but anyway, peter fonda, james woods, ice cube, david cross, and a ton of other famous names lent their voices for different characters. it has become one of the most critically acclaimed games, ever. true, there's some swearing, but it isn't pornographic. it comes across well-timed and tasteful.

I haven't played doom 3 yet, so I don't really have an opinion of it. I loved the old doom though. it scared my parents.

I had so much fun playing Half Life multi-player games on the 'net.

It's probably a good thing that I don't play games anymore because I'd either get nothing else done, or I'd not have enough time to enjoy them fully.

yes, I agree, mort. I wasted a solid year-and-a-half of my life playing counter-strike and day of defeat online. as a matter of fact, I almost flunked high school.

A combination of Rogue Spear, Red Alert 2, followed by Generals and a dangerous period of Everquest took hold of me in my gaming days.

Played Doom 3 and completed it :D Yeah, it was good and really scary!

last night my hub told me we had to get to futureshop cause he had a copy of GTA san andreas in hold. every guy under the age of 30 in that store had one of them in his hands. no lineup or craziness or anything though. geez, i hadnt even heard of it til hub mentioned it. looks nuts though, it's right up his alley (lowriders etc)

Playing Chessmaster 10th Edition.

Nah, now playing Evil Genius.

I finished DOOM3 too!!! It's so cool! Though I started to anticipate the monsters pretty soon. I really loved this sequence where cylinders containing Imps bathing the pitch black room in blue light as it moves.

Can't wait for San Andreas to come out here...

I'm sure Phil will get a copy of GTA:San Andreas at some point (he has several of the others). Though at the moment we've just bought KOTOR and Rome:Total War so have enough to be getting on with for now (along with all those we bought over the summer and haven't had chance to play yet!)

I prefer Pro Evolution Soccer, never get bored of it.
Have gta;vice city, never played it though, it looks so complicated.

I like worldbuilding games, too. I like Age of Mythology somewhat, but the cut scenes were annoying. My all-time favorite was "Masters of Magic" but it was a DOS based game (I've even kept around an old 486 machine JUST to play it!) Haha.
