Optical Illusions

3in1-wood.jpg

This ambiguous picture can be seen as three different things. First: as a large cube with a corner missing. Second: as a hollow room with a small cube inside. Third: as a large cube with a small cube floating in front. :D

Those are terrific, AquaBlue, particularly the first two! I love optical illusions. Keep them coming!

I don't have any to share though... :(

These are all amazing. Have any of you seen the Magic Eye books and can you make them work?

I can't see these ones either Aqua, but it's a long time since I've tried. I originally discovered that to see them, I partly crossed my eyes and kept them at that point, out of focus. Don't know if that will help :D

For a long while I was unable to view stereograms or I would view them incorrectly with crossed eyes; most are made to view using the Parallel-Viewing method.
I think I found directions for viewing in a Magic Eye book. I used the Reflection Method and was finally able to see the 3-d image.

Here's some sites that explain the different viewing techniques and have tips for viewing.
