Patricia Briggs

Regarding the Mercedes Thompson Series:

Patricia Briggs has signed contracts for four books, and has verbally agreed to an offer to write three more, for a total of seven books in this series! These books will be released in Jan/Feb of each year. The third book, Iron Kissed will be available in January of 2008.
 
The only books by her that I've read have been Moon Called and Blood Bound. I really enjoyed them and look forward to more books in this series. I love Stefan! :)

The only thing that I didn't like in Blood Bound was at the end how Mercy was thinking what Stefan did was so terrible, even though he did it for her.
 
I'm also waiting for the third in the series. Yeah, Stefan is cool and so is Adam, the alpha werewolf. I like Briggs' writing style and appreciate her imagination. I'm not into the character Mercy as much as I am with the whole magic world that Briggs has created.
 
I'm in the middle of The Hob's Bargain right now. I kind of wish that Briggs added more details in her prose. But I guess this method also makes the pace of the novel go faster.

After I finish this book I'm going to start on Dragon Bones.

Did anyone else read Cry Wolf yet? I liked it. Although not as much as the Mercy books. I'm on the waiting list at the library for the book that contains the novella Alpha and Omega.
