please help... alphabet puzzle book anyone?

I am trying to find/identify the title of a book my parents had about 10 years ago. each page had a very detailed art illustration of hundreds of items beginning with the same letter of the alphabet. This wasnt a kids book as each picture was very detailed and the challenge of the book was to identify everything, i think there may have been a competition in the back of the book when it first came out.

anyone got any ideas? ive searched the internet forever and am driving myself mad!!!
