I was looking up info on heterogeneity and found this site about definitions etc. It had a way you could hear someone pronounce the word.

Is this the way people in the UK say this word? Because the guy has an american accent and the americans tend to pronounce things differently from us.

Yes i played the man saying 'heterogeneity' many times and laughed.....im bored.

ETA - is tomato really a slang word for an attractive woman!?

I'd say it almost the same. But rather than the 'jen-ee' I'd say 'jen-eh'.

I'm American, but I'd probably say jen-eh just because it sounds more professional and I'm weird like that.
