Hi, don't know why this just popped into my head. Maybe it is because im insane? Maybe, maybe, or maybe... Well, never mind about that.

OK, my question is this: What is the STRANGEST things you have eaten/tasted/drank in your life? By this, I don't mean exotic of foreign foods. What I mean, what thing you you eaten or tasted that is not normally eaten or tasted? Maybe nobody is a loonie like me so won't get any reply! I am betting Litany will reply tho. :D

OK, my list is

Flowers
Spices
Herbs
Leaves
Grass
Dog food
Acorns
Conkers
Cat food
Dog chocolate
Hamster yogurt chocolate ( yeah, it exists :D )
Dirt
Snow
Rain
Bark
Moss

Ummm, that's all that I can think of from the top of my head!

Anybody else?
 
Milkbone dog biscuts.....Suprisingly though they were quite enjoyable and would not be disconcerted if I was to have to eat them again :)
 
I've tasted everything my dog eats and most of it is gross, I dont see why he goes so crazy for it. Bean Burrito MRE in the Army was strange, and nasty, A BBQ chip that has been lying in the woods for about 2 days.
 
I tasted automotive coolant once, I didn't swallow. I'd heard it was sweet tasting and I wanted to confirm. It WAS sweet.

Its also highly toxic!
I also licked a 9 volt battery once when I was a small child.......from what I rememeber - it felt it it came out to "grab" my tongue! It also left an odd after taste....like a residue....(no doubt due to using my saliva as an eletrolight and leaving a slight precipitate on my tongue!).
 
I'd have to say Debbie. Afterwards, I sucked down a 2 liter bottle of Dr Pepper and stil couln't get the taste out of my mouth. :eek:

I accidently swallowed some caustic the other week, that didn't taste too good.

Pea sandwich! Jacket potato on toast :)


Oh and Sillywabbit - insane is good, weird questions are better. Think of some more :)
 
I was watching pink flamingo, and at the end divine eats dog shit off the sidewalk then the film ends. so the next day me and my buddy told this kid we'd give him $2 to eat a piece of dog shit, and he did. we even got it on video.

anyway, the most "disgusting" thing I ever swallowed was cum.

lol i think this is very funny, but i have aeten some odd things too!
deer and elk meat
froglegs
horse
cow tongue
chicken liver
pig feet
cow (balls) yes you know what i mean...
many bugs
worm
2 pennies(it was a bet)
slug (accidently)
mud
paper(child habit)
cat food
dog food
there was a maggot in a cob of corn(accidently ate it)
sap that was just comming out of tree
a lil bit of a dead possum that was hit by car and my neighbors cooked it, i had the thigh meat
a african delicasy(ants)
will think of more, but thats all i got now.
of all those only the ants, the chicken liver
deer meat and the ants were really good.

My brother is the one who should be replying to this thread. He used to eat anything. Cigarette butts, ants, mud, dog food, it was best to leave him to it and not ask too many questions.

For me, I used to tuck into the dog treats. Dog chocolate isn't that tasty, but Bonios are quite good, marrow biscuits are an acquired tastes, and those little diamond shaped biscuits were good as long as you steered clear of the pink ones which could be a little dry.

For animals, I don't think they really count as unusual anymore, but when I tucked into them they still were. So, goat, alilgator, ostrich, boar, bison and probably some others that I can't remember.

Sea slug. That was really disgusting. My mate's mum always cooks for me when I go round to visit, and mostly the food is delicious, but it always best not to ask what something is if you find it tasty, because you probably won't find it too tasty anymore. One time it was sea slug, and it was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. Yuk.

Grass can be good. Tastes a lot like apples if you pick the right stuff.
