Hi :)

I'm looking for a good book review site. What I am after is SF and fantasy book reviews but a straight fiction review site would be great too. I already know of The SF site. Any body know of a good site? I'm looking to buy some SF books soon so I wanna get to know some good ones :)

Check out WordWeaving, Round table Reviews, Timeless Tales, Sime-Gen, Under the Covers, Sharpwriter, Ivy Quill Reviews, Authors Den, Midwest Book Reviews for a few. I don't know how to insert the url, but you can find these easily enough in a search engine. I have more if you want them. :)

The 2 I'd say off the top of my head have already been taken.

I've got a few weekly online sf magazines on my links list- not the best reviews, but worth having a look at to keep abreast of developments:

Amazon.co.uk, amazon.com, and amazon.ca aren't always bad- you've just got to be selective with the reviews. Swapping from one amazon site to another is often helpful.

For really good sf lists, go and have a look at the yearly published anthologies: 'The Year's Best Science Fiction' (Latest one until June) edited by Gardner Dozois (editor of one of the major SF magazines- Analog or Asimov I think) is considered the best SF short story anthology published each yr. As a bonus in each one, the editor discusses the yr's science fiction in general and highlights the 'must reads' - pretty good recommendation lists.
