I stumbled across Robert J Sawyer by accident searching for another author. I haven't read any of his books yet such as Flash Forward,End Of An Era,Mindscan. But they sound intriguing. Just wondered if anyone else has read any? Our library doesn't stock 'em,so looks like ordering in or online shopping!

Just wondered if anyone else has read any? Our library doesn't stock 'em,so looks like ordering in or online shopping!

Yes. I have read most of Sawyer's work and I find it very fast-paced and fun to read. Very often there is a mystery to be solved. Character development isn't so great, but that's not what I look for when I read Sawyer. Some of my personal favorites are The Terminal Experiment, Calculating God, and Starplex.
