The greatest president America has ever had. His enormous contribution to the prevaling of peace in the world and to overthrowing of communism won't be forgotten. So I wanted to send this post as a kind of condolence.

No. Politics is about the present world. This is history.

Well since he is being put to rest NOW, as in today and that also we would be talking about his politics... that kinda makes it politics and not history

Agreed. And regardless how you look at it, Reagan having been a politician, it would be pretty hard not to end up talking politics. Lots of other forums for that.
