Hi,
I am looking for the name or author of some book I read in early 80s.
It's a science fiction about a dispatcher on a far wild planet. There are several races; some of them have strong paranormal abilities.
The dispatcher mind was captured by a blind man whose castle was conquered by bandits. One of his sisters is running away for help. The dispatcher is fired and was send to assist locals with some optic techniques. Shortly after he steals a horse and runs to assist his sister.
