I hope you can help me find a book I read a few years ago, unfortunately I can't remember the author or title
I remember that there were two people, a police officer or FBI agent or something and a woman, who were searching for a serial killer that took the eyes of his victims. Parts of it were written from the killer's pov and it was described that he was sleeping on black satin sheets and had the eyes of his victims lined up in bottles along the wall of his bedroom because he got off on them staring at him or something.
It was a really intense book and I've searched everywhere but I can't seem to even find anything resembling it...
