Searching For a Series

Hi there everyone I am searching for a young adult fiction series.
It is about a teenage male computer programmer/ hacker who inadvertently sets off a virus that starts to destroy the web which controls pretty much everything. It is a sci-fi series set in the future and has a few key elements. There is an underground world underneath the city, a chip in the wrist is used for transactions. and in all on the surface appears utopian but with the slightest problem it collapses.

Doubtful. Snow Crash was a stand-alone novel, Hiro wasn't a teenager, and it certainly was not a Utopian world.

Awesome book though.

sure

well lets see the main character was adopted and if memory serves he is a clone of the main villain of the story. Space travel is common. there are moving walkways in the city that get you everywhere. the main female character is the girlfriend of the main male character and she is a spoiled rich girl. uhh ill try and think of other things.
