series recommendation

I'm not sure if this is the right place or not, but i wanted to recommend two series that I think are really good.

I started off reading The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I thought they were so good, I read his other series The Codex Alera. I think The Codex Alera is one of the best series I've read in sometime!

I've read the first 5 Dresden book and just thought they were all right before stopping. I may go back and finish it at some point but the newer series sounds interesting. I'll add them to my list.

The Codex Alera isn't anything like the Dresden Files, I should have been a little clearer in that.

The Codex Alera is about a young man without magic living in a world where everyone has magic, called furies, that they use to help them in their everyday lives. He gets drawn into world changing events while trying to hide the fact that he doesn't have a fury.

I think the stories are very well written and I found myself staying up well past my bedtime reading them!
