I read a book at least 5-7 years ago, and cannot remember the title or the author. From what I remeber, its set before "modern times"...a lady ran away from her husband, and was pregnant. She was bathing in a pond in a cow pasture, and the man who owned it found her, and ended up taking her in. They (of course) ended up falling in love and he raised the child as his own. Possibly, the husband showed up looking for her, and caused some trouble. Can you help me with the name or author?? I would be SOOOO grateful!!
