I must admit the constant use of _ does annoy me slightly - it makes it hard to read and I feel that bold or italic would emphasise the point far better. I have no problems with smilies though.

I don't have a problem with smilies, but some people do tend to abuse them. Also, I think TBF has more than enough smilies. If people want more, they can always go to clicksmilies or plauder or whatever... They have everything their little hearts could ever desire.

Oh yes, I agree that there are more than enough. If I feel the need to use a smiley that isn't in the list I just get it from another site - simple
