I had one of the most amazing weekends I have ever had. :D

I went to see my two mates dj at Plastic People in London, we travelled down from Manchester, really changed my entire outlook on putting on a night and deejaying, I know my music but i only knew about 10 tunes all night, nobody bothered to mix and to be honest nobody cared, each record was good enough to hear in its entirety (ala David Mancuso and the Loft), absolutely wonderful crowd combined with the most beautiful music I have heard in a long time....! :D

Me and my brother start our own night in manchester on Saturday, so wish us luck....!

(ala David Mancuso and the Loft)

Who? What?

My weekend was dire - got drunk on Friday night and got home sometime during the night (there were birds singing, I recall).

Saturday was spent at my friend's house with a phonecall to Dominos Pizza and working on getting Crewe Alexandra promotion to the 1st Division after arriving at the start of the season after leaving Montrose (who I'd got to the Scottish 1st in two successive seasons) in Championship Manager.

Sunday, I decided NOT to go to the Kilmarnock game as I did not want to see Celtic (and their ugly, ugly fans) win the title. Also, decided to give up on booze for a few weeks and try the fitness thing. And read a bit about monasticism.

Monday, found myself back at work.

David Mancuso used to do a night in the 1970's called the loft, it was a legendary club that was invitation only, he never bothered to mix the records as he believed they were worthy of listening to in their entirety, he went on to produce a lot of good music to and is still active in NYC to this day.

black and blue from playing roller hockey on a wet rink on friday night. had a hair cut and watched two films with the girl. The actors and Tomb raider 2 neither of which added up to much. Most fun had this weekend was playing x box and trying to explain to a peroxide blonde in the hair dressers what Steppenwolf is about.

hey soultwin - you a manc as well? good luck with the night!

Saturday: Woke up, worked out, showered, read a bit, baked cookies, hung out with friends (which included frisbee golf and pool), went to bed...

Sunday: Woke up, showered, started packing for our move at the beginning of June, ran errands, worked out, tossed around the frisbee with my husband, took a walk and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather, played some Madden on the Xbox, went to bed...

Good weekend...

Saturday morning went out walking. Misjudged a hill. Nearly died.
Saturday afternoon took the rabbits for a walk. Realised that after the excessive amount of exercise I'd done that morning, chasing after a rabbit on a lead was probably a big mistake.
Saturday evening is mostly a fug.

Sunday morning woke up with headache, went out shopping anyway. Bought a book. Hurrah.
Sunday afternoon headache got worse, passed out for a bit.
Sunday evening also fuggy.

Wishing I had a nice relaxing weekend:

Saturday: drove to my hometown, about 1 1/2 hours, had lunch (entirely deep fried) with my mom, and then drove out 15 miles into the country to go to the antique rose place to see my friend's pottery show. Spent entirely too much on pottery, managed to not buy a whole bunch of rose bushes I don't need, drove back, was at home for about an hour before having to drive across town (another 45 mins) to see some friends, watched Kill Bill Vol 2 (still deciding how I feel about it) and then drove home. Entirely too much driving.

Sunday: Wolf invited over several people to do work on their cars. Realized as the 8th person arrived that there was not a single thing to eat in the house. Luckily, they brought meat to grill so grilled while they wrenched. Someone brought their 3 year old, so I spent part of the day protecting the cat from too much toddler love. Went to a baby shower, returned to find the ranks depleted but still filling the garage. Finally went to bed around 11:30, and they were still at it.

Feeling quite eh today. Really need to get more rest on my days off. Also, I tend to get dehydrated as I forget to drink anything when I'm at home all day.

Last Friday, My mate and I went to town for book shopping, bought 3 for 2!!
Saturday I watched tv, most of them are rubbish so I turned it off and end up read my book, finished it at 12.15am. Started new book!
Yesterday I ironed my clothes, cleaned my bathroom and went shopping and chill out to read mags.
Today back to work! :(

Spent Friday night clearing out my bedroom for the plasterer (after I'd done the weekly shop  ) Worked Saturday morning, then got home to let the plasterer in, went to the Crem to put flowers down for my gran's birthday, got drunk on Saturday night.

Sunday, plasterer came to finish off, nursed my daughter who was trying to hack a lung up all day, started lugging all the crap back into the bedroom ...

Glad to get to work today for a rest .... ;)

Well, nothing much, really ..

Friday night I went to the Kill Bill marathon - tres cool!

Saturday I worked a bit.

Sunday I slept in, did some reading, did some studying, watched some sports, etc...

Riveting stuff!

Cheers, Martin

i saw something once that said people from Dundee are the ugliest in scotland! though im sure celtic supporters come a close third! with rangers supporters closing in fast! of course falkirk supporters are in a league of their own :D!
im so mixed up in my days! so im not sure when the weekend was! i was away doing work experience at a vets in galway city. was quite interesting. had a dog with a bad hernia! not the nicest thing to see at 9am but poor dog had to be operated on! he went home 100% intact though! :D
