Hi there's a book I read many years ago and would like to again but cannot recall the title or author..
I'm fairly sure the cover had a Salamander on it.. There was a women who set fire to yourself in a parking lot witnessed by someone working in a cafe cooking burgers.. the partner of the women trying to find out why she would do such a thing... he thought he wad being haunted by her... there was something about scimshaw carvings.. and Wagner music was used to help the women become immortal, like smoke or something like that.. sorry that's all I remember.. hopefully someone will know what book I mean.. Thanks
