I am going to endeavor to use the word "SPLENDID" a lot more in daily usage! I mean, it's a great word isn't it??? It has that kinda "I am an evil meglo maniac and who is intent on taking over the world and maybe the universe if I have the time" kinda ring to it!

I mean, you would not get an evil manic saying something like "great" or "good"

The atomic death ray is ready master... good.
The atomic death ray is ready master... great!

Just does not work! Now... The atomic death ray is ready master... Splendid! and then followed up with a good mmmmhahahahahaha!

What word do you think you should use more! I urge you to adopt a new word today! :D

I really like the word ubiquitous. It's very difficult to work into everyday conversation without sounding pretentious, though.

Mostly, I'm just trying to STOP saying "Cool" for everything.

Well, don't worry, just use it anyway! :D

Yeah, "cool" is an American habbit :D The other one that always makes me smile is "cute" I'm not sure Americans ACTUALLY know what that word means. lol I mean, everything can't be cute! *says in a bad American accent* I saw thease shoes and they were so cute! :D

The meanings of words evolve with time, Wabbit. I will continue to call shoes "cute" if I feel like it, thankyouverymuch.

:D

Have you ever felt the wrath of Agent T , or anything else of hers for that matter?

Believe what you will, Wabbit, but take the time to stop and ask yourself why the carrot you had for breakfast this morning left you with a chalky undertaste.

Ahhhh, but I avoided that carrot this morning and had coco pops! After all, I would rather have a bowl of coco pops!

I read a book once where the author referred to a tiercel as a "splendid little killer". I thought that was so apt and so clever sounding that it has always stuck in my head.

My sister, brother and I pick a word a month and try to use it as often as we can that month. Well, we've slagged off in the last while but it was fun while it lasted. It often made us sound pretentious, but that was the fun. :p

Same with "nice". I can't stand that word, but apart from my opinion - what DOES it mean? It's such a bland word.

I think "cute" has become bland because of its overuse. IMHO, it should be used for kittens only. LOL :p

oh, and the word i've been trying to use lately is "ersatz." i just like the sound of it. we need to start using more words with the letters Q, X and Z
