I just got "Of human bondage", by W. Somerset Maugham. I've read many reviews about it in the internet. Weird thing is that the reviews were such different from each other that it seemed they were not all about the same book. But they were, there's no other similar title.
All I know is that this book seems to tell the story about a guy who had many problems in his life - including health problems - and had to fight against them. And some reviews said it could be considered a self biography of Maugham.
Well, there are so many different reviews around the internet that I'm not sure about what this book is about. So I'm curious. And I'm also interested in this masterpiece because I've already read "The Razor's Edge" from this very author and it was great.
So I'll now open the book...
