Still haven't found my book. "N 2ooo-2001 I Read A Small Novel About A Female Police Detective That Had Just Moved To A New Location And She Bought A House. There Was A Neighbor Across The Street, Next Door And Behind Her. She Had A Corner House, I Believe. She Discovered Two Skeletons In Her Garden, One Female And One A Baby. There Was A Man That Taught Music Down The Block And Everyone Helped To Fill Her In On Who Used To Live There. There Was A Man And A Very Mean Boy That Lived There When This Girl Stayed With Them. All This Came Alive To The Detective By Means Of A Diary Left By The Girl In Her Closet Floor Or Wall Board. Her Last Entry Told Of What She Saw The Boy And Man Doing And The Total Horror Of It. It Turned Out The Boy Was Actually A Girl And Had A Baby . The Man Was Actually The Neighbor In Back And The Girl Was A Realtor. She Tried To Kill The Detective By Luring Her To The Basement With A Kitty Caught In Some Wire. The Diary Mentioned The Boy Always Had A Ring With Two Serpents Intertwined And The Realtor Wore That Ring. The Title Was Weird, Like All The Kings Horses Or Something About The Horses In Revelation. Anyone Know The Book And Author?"
I hope by reposting this someone can remember the title. I really would like to read it again. Thank you.

Looked Up A Review

NO. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT. the bones were found in her side yard against the fence and by her, not anyone else, except a young lad (i think). I can't remember why she was relocating, but she had been a detective. not writing a movie score. here is the review I caught of 'Night Moves'

"Maggie Fitzgerald lost her parents, both world-famous musicians, several years ago in an airplane crash. Then she lost her husband in a tragic automobile accident. Now she's determined to start over in the slower pace of a mountainside village in Maryland – a decision her L.A. based agent is concerned about. She promises the relocation won't affect the deadline on the movie score she is composing. But she didn't plan on finding human bones in her front yard. Landscaper Cliff Delaney is sure that the transplanted socialite will be gone in a few weeks at most, but he is intrigued by the strength and steadfastness she shows. But it remains to be seen if the city girl and the country boy can find any common ground. "

Thanks though. I wish it was.
