Hi all,
Trying to recommend a book to a friend but can't remember the name of it. It's a British Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel about a female protagonist who picks up hitchhikers, pretends to seduce them, but instead knocks them out with the injection of a sedative of some kind and then brings them back to her secret society for some nefarious purpose that escapes me at the moment.
She's some kind of mutant, as well, or perhaps she's been surgically altered, but there's a lot of discussion in the book about her posture and how it isn't meant to fit in the driver's seat of a car anymore.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
