Sunshine inspiration

At last, I'm back in the beautiful Hellenic sunshine.

I had to return to the UK back in June to participate in Going Underground's promotion/marketing, which unfortunately left very little time for the writing of book number two. And that's despite already being a third of the way through it!

Saying that, the naff, cold, wet and windy weather did seem to affect my inspiration and not in a good way, I can tell you...

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the opposite problem. If I didn't know better i would swear that I am allergic to UV.

You may have my share of Sol's hateful glare. I choose to admire Luna instead.

I am similar Sneezy. I much prefer autumn, and the early nights that accompany it. It was the same when I was younger, more so now. Grey, wet and windy rainy days can a bit annoying en masse, but I don't mind those so much either, as long as there are a few nice warm garden reading days thrown into the mix.

One of my life's great ironies is that I live in a place of almost neverending sunshine. I miss seasons, fall the most. I get positively giddy over the news of cooler temperatures (mid 60's) and stormy weather. I put on long pants and brew up a pot of hot spiced wine. And if I close the curtains you barely see the coconut tree's and tropical bushes. =o)

The north of the UK is a never ending season... rain, rain and yet more rain. Of course, with a cold wind thrown in!

That's why I like the sunshine, even if it isn't good for buckling down to work at times x
