technical difficulties

the forum seems to be taking a really long time to load. is anyone else experiencing this? we're running high speed cable and this is the only site that is doing this.
 
I just got an Internal Server Error, but it didn't slow anything down, and everything works just fine.
 
matt thinks we may have had some ad ware or something, everything seems fine now.thanks guys
 
There seems to be a problem with some of the ads for the site.. The site never stops loading, and Firefox says waiting for pagead2.googlesyndication.com, and I can't use the tabs for inserting smileys when I reply.. good thing I can do it with out :)

ok this is what is happening to me then. because i thought it was fixed but it is still taking forever to load. and i use firefox too, so is that the prob?
 
I dont think its got anything to do with firefox jenn. I use firefox too, but I tried it with IE and the behaviour is the same.
 
The site is loading fine for me, using crappy dial-up. But like hay, when I click to use smilies, bold, quotes etc it does not work. The page just jumps to the top without putting in the smilie. This will please smilie-phobes like Martin! Unfortunately for him, I too can remember how to do them manually! :p
 
Yep, It's pretty slow this end too Jenngorham and again it's only this forum that seems to be taking forever to load (well, the last few bits anyway)! :confused:

I'm on an iMac - 10.3.8 using Safari.

1Mb broadband (or so they say).
 
k back to normal now. the computer gods accepted my offering of a tray of brownies and a six pack.
