Well its the weekend tomorrow, which I for one am particularly glad of! Today has been weird  First, this morning as I was about to cross the road to go to work, I saw a little boy (about 18mths to 2yrs) run out into the road :( luckily the driver of the car managed to slam his brakes on in time! ) - I picked the boy up and took him back to the pavement but there was no one in sight, luckily a woman living in one of the houses had seen what happened and came running out, we waited for a good few minutes until a man came running round the corner looking for the child  he was beside himself with worry though - I'm just glad it didn't end differently :(

Then this afternoon, whilst walking my dog, I bumped into my old college lecturer whom I havn't seen for 5 years and he offered me a job!

Looking forward to the weekend now so I can relax! What are you all planning to do?

That is a strange day and thanks for sharing it :)

I hope you have a gooooooood weeeeeekend! As for me, I would like to say something witty. Maybe I could say something funny. Maybe I should say something strange  But... I am too tired lol

I will be cooking, reading ( maybe in the park with many Starbuck frapachinos after, writing, study Spanish, surf the web AND ... for sure... it goes without saying... BOOKFORUM :D

Wow! What a day!

It was a typical Friday for me -- nothin' to write home about. LOL

And I don't know what's in store for this weekend, but I'm sure a lot of it will be spent doing what I love to do most... POSTING! :D

finally home from work, it's freaking HOT here, after a sweaty ride home it's nice to be hanging out in my Care Bear pajamas.

weird week of work for me, my freaky insane co-worker was fired (yea!) so we've all been concerned that she'll go postal and bring a gun in and kill us all. but it's been nice not having to avoid her. conversations with her were sort of non-linear, so i did everything i could to keep them as short as possible.

Yay for the weekend, which i'm WORKING!!

But wait, theres a light at the end of the tunnel ... yes Euro 2004 is here!! :D

for me its going to be a boring weekend, since i have to make the financial reports of my student society, :( , at least ill get to try this "creative acounting" that seems has become very popular in the last couple years :D

just got back from movie theatre. i would advise against seeing stepford wives, its has really no plot, no story line at all. its pretty weird, and its not all funny or misterious.
its boring and was a waste of my time i can never get back....now saved was pretty good, i mean it was better than the first movie but id personally advise you to only watch it if your just real bored.....so my friday was, eh.

My Friday was interesting, as the guy I'm replacing at work had his last day yesterday. So we had a party, which threw the whole day into a loop and we really didn't get all that much accomplished. I think it frustrated the people for whom we were supposed to be recording documents, but hey, its Friday and they weren't working overly hard themselves. Then I came home, worked out and had dinner with my hubby, after which we drove over to my parents house and chatted a bit. Good day all around. I love living this close to my parents, its so nice being back in the town I where grew up.

Phil! Friend! I could not agree more - Euro2004!!

Anyway, I'm still not feeling great, so I called in ill today, and I'll be playing some games, watching some football, posting some nonsense ..

.. and, you know, vomiting.

Cheers, Martin

Oh god, I hate it when I see near misses with road accidents and such - hate real road accidents even more of course. I was on a bus once and saw a toddler pretty much crawl out in front of the bus into the road whilst his parents back was turned. It wouldn't have been half as bad if the parent hadn't turned round with a 'what's the big deal?' look on his face when he saw what was going on. Idiot.

Are you going to accept the job Ice?? I'm looking forward to the day I'm head hunted for my superior beer testing skills :D Like that girl who was picked to taste test for Ribena or Vimto maybe...? They had her tongue insured or something. That'll be me, but for beer.

I hope you feel better soon, Martin. How awful to be ill on the weekend.

Thank you and thank you.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some wallowing in self-pity to do.

Cheers, Martin

Nope, you're not excused. Wallowing is NOT allowed -- unless it's me doing the wallowing, of course.

Ah Friday... The day to go out and party after work? ;)

Yesterday my mum and I went to shopping, I bought a cropped trouser, a t-shirt and a pairs of slipper. It was enjoyable shopping! Also I read a book as well.
Today I'll see my best mate in pub. We'll gossiping about all sort of things and BOOKS! Good thing she likes to read.
Oh my god Euro 2004 is back again, Wimbeldon's coming soon and Olypmics as well (I will watching this one). Too many sport programmes, no excuse for reading book :D.

By the way, I hope you feel better sooon, Martin.
