the 1 finger discount is the discount you get when you buy chili at Wendy's and there is a finger in it! (a finger really was found in a chili at Wendy's, so this joke correspondes to a precedent)

Discount? That sounds more like a lawsuit actually so instead of a discount maybe it should be something like the one finger ruiner of your day but maker for the rest of your life.

yes, I know! So how funny if it should be resolved instead by a discount! That it should be resolved by a discount suggests that something like a finger in the chili is to be expected at Wendy's, and is business as usual, and that people would stand for it, only so long as there was a small restitution!
