I thought I might have heard something a minute ago, but Back to the Future is on and it's hard to tell through the noise of the thunder storm.
 
That's only a near miss for them out there. I hope nothing happened and that they are just smiling and gritting their teeth as usual. :cool:

Makes me very happy to be here in the Great American Outback..tornadoes don't behave this way.
 
Tornados are pretty nasty, too.

Do you have building codes to combat the damage caused by tornados?

I don't think so..at least I don't remember my dh mentioning this when he was building our last two houses. There are codes of course, but I don't think there's any that are specifically designed for tornado damage. I'll ask; now I'm curious. I know that since the Andover Tornado of 1991, mobile home parks and other public places have had stricter regulations about providing storm shelters.
