The Hero's Path

A long, long time ago, even before The Great Depression, before Columbus found America, before Jesus stepped foot onto earth, and even before dinosaurs existed. There were three big towns. They were called Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak. Saradomin and Guthix were good friends, but Zamorak was a different story…
Zamarak would always do terrible things to Saradomin and Guthix, but they couldn’t blame the terrible things that happened to them on Zamarak because there was no proof. Zamarak was fall of a lot of hateful people, too, the town was just horrible. Very few would stop to help others.
One day Zamarak went too far. They did something so horrible that is started one of the biggest wars ever, even bigger than World War II…

Let me explain the magic in this world. Wind is the worst element, water is the second worst element, earth is the second best element, and fire is the best element. Here are the normal spells:
Wind Wave, Water Wave, Earth Wave, Fire Wave, Wind Bolt, Water Bolt, Earth Bolt, Fire Bolt, Wind Blast, Water Blast, Earth Blast, Fire Blast, Wind Strike, Water Strike, Earth Strike, and Fire Strike. All of those are in order from worst to best, but of course there are more spells, but those are the sixteen basic spells.
You must have enough runes for each spell. Let’s say if I wanted to use Fire Blast, I would need seven fire runes, five air runes, and one blood rune. Some runes are rarer than others. Air, water, earth, and fire runes are the four basic runes. Then there are the ones used for spells. Mind runes are used for Wave spells, Chaos runes are used for Bolt spells, Death runes are used for Blast spells, and Blood runes are used for Strike spells. There are more than eight runes, but those are used for other spells, like alchemy.
You must be a wizard to access the Strike spells. If you’re a mage, you can’t use them.

Josh was a nice young man who was willing to do anything for Saradomin or Guthix. He was also the strongest person ever. His best friend, Fletcher, was a pretty good ranger, and he was always willing to help Josh on his adventures. Whether it was a giant dragon that needed to be slayed, or just a tiny rat that needed to be extinguished, Fletcher would always help Josh. Alex was the second best fighter ever, but he was a mean man who wanted to be the best. He tried to be the best at everything. He practiced fighting every day, but he never became better than Josh. He actually hated Josh.
And the three of them all lived in Saradomin. Josh of course lived in a big castle because he was such a great fighter, but the others were fine with what they had. Josh not only had the best skills at fighting, the best house, the favoritism of the King, but he always had an incredible girlfriend named Jane.
Jane had long blonde hair, hazel eyes, and a nice white dress she always wore. If Josh ever lost her, he wouldn’t be able to carry on. He couldn’t spend a second without her, so that’s why he decided to marry her. And that’s were the story begins…

Josh and Fletcher were practicing fighting with thick wooden swords on a nice sunny day. Alex was practicing ranging, while everyone else in the town was doing something else besides practicing fighting techniques.
Alex was ranging, but he was watching Josh and Fletcher fight more. He decided that he wanted to fight Josh, but he hoped that this time that he wouldn’t lose, and be embarrassed. But like it would matter, no one had ever beaten him anyways; at least, that’s what was said.
Alex approached Josh and opened his mouth to say, “I think I can beat you this time.”
Josh examined him to see if he had a trick up his sleeve, but he didn’t see anything. “Okay, good luck to the both of us,” Josh said with a smile.
Alex didn’t say anything. He just grabbed the wooden sword from Fletcher and stepped three feet away from Josh.
“Fight!” exclaimed Fletcher.
Alex ran towards Josh with a fierce look in his face. Alex knew that he was going to win this time. He slashed the wooden sword at Josh, but Josh of course blocked it.
Josh grabbed a rope from Alex’s legs, and Fletcher was wondering what he was doing, but knew that he was going to do something clever.
Alex kicked at Josh, and missed. While Alex’s foot was still in the air, Josh grabbed it, tied it to his hand, and he fell to the ground with a cluttering blow.
Alex was mad at this. “You can’t use anything that is attached to me,” Alex said, still on the ground.
“You were going to use it, so I just decided to make you feel bad that you used something that ended up backfiring on you,” Josh replied.
Alex opened his mouth, but said nothing. He felt stupid and tried to untie the rope with his other hand. He finally got up, still trying to get the rope untied. “Darn rope!” Alex whispered to himself.
“Let me help you,” Josh said. He walked over to Alex, but Alex’s reaction wasn’t the best.
“Get away from me!” Alex shouted! “I can do it by myself!” Alex tugged harder at the rope.
“You’re just mad I’m better than you at everything,” Josh responded.
“Oh shut up!” Alex exclaimed. “Nobody likes you, the only reason they give you so much attention is because they just… feel sorry for you!”
“Whatever!” Josh replied. “See you at my wedding tomorrow. If you even bother to show up.” Josh started to walk away with Fletcher, but he saw King Samuel running towards them.
Alex put on a fake smile. He ran up towards them, but King Samuel didn’t say anything to him.
“Your girlfriend,” King Samuel said, gasping for breath. “She’s been…” He took another breath and then said, “… kidnapped.”
Josh dropped the wooden sword.
“Well, doesn’t look like I’ll attend your wedding tomorrow,” Alex mocked.
Josh felt rage in him. He gripped his fists, but then decided it wasn’t worth it. “Who took her?” Josh asked. But he knew the answer.
“… Guthix!” King Samuel replied.
Josh couldn’t believe it, Guthix had betrayed them.
“Oh wait,” King Samuel said. “I mean Zamarak.”
“Those idiots!” Josh shouted.
“It’s not all that simple getting her back,” King Samuel said. “There’s a sapphire, emerald, ruby, diamond, and pearl with a face of King Syon (Syon is pronounced s eye (i) on.) that needs to be destroyed. You see, she’s trapped in a chamber that only King Syon can unlock with his hand, or the five gems that need to be destroyed to unlock it,” King Samuel finished.
“I think we’ll have enough money to just buy her back with that many gems,” Fletcher joked.
“We’ll bomb Zamarak first thing tomorrow, then you set out on your journey for the five gems. And remember, they can be anywhere,” King Samuel told Josh.
“Thank you, I’ll do whatever I can to get Jane back. I guess I gotta cancel the wedding. Do you have any clue where the gems are?” Josh questioned.
“There’s one in the Lost City,” King Samuel answered. “You need a certain staff though. First you need the blood of a goat. Then you must cut a tree down, and cut it into a staff. Then rub the goat blood on the staff.”
“Why would I need to do that?” asked Josh.
“I don’t know,” replied King Samuel. His voice trembled as he spoke, which King Samuel would make Josh a little nervous. He started to walk away.
“Thank you,” Josh said, waving. He turned to Fletcher and Alex.
“You know I’m going,” Fletcher said.
“No, it’s too dangerous,” responded Josh.
“Nothing is too dangerous for me,” replied Fletcher.
“Well… okay,” Josh said.
Alex was wondering if he should go with Josh. Sure he hated him, and his dumb girlfriend, but he knew he would get respect from the town’s people. So just as Josh and Fletcher were walking away, Alex shouted, “Wait!”
Josh and Fletcher stopped dead in their tracks.
“I’m going with you guys,” Alex said, surprisingly.
Josh thought of words to say, but he finally said, “Well… okay…”
Fletcher opened his mouth to say that this was ridiculous! That all this idiot ever helped us with was with are A, B, Cs when we were three years old. But then he remembered that Alex was right there, so instead he asked, “Can I have a minute alone with Josh.”
“Sure,” Alex replied.
Fletcher and Josh took a step forward. “This is ridiculous!” Fletcher cried. “Why would you want help from that lunatic!?” Fletcher thought he did a pretty good job of stating himself.
“I know, but he’s a good fighter,” Josh replied. “Just because we hate him, doesn’t mean he’s a bad fighter. So what do you say?”
“Well… All right. You are the caption,” Fletcher stated.
Fletcher and Josh turned around and faced Alex. “You guys are idiots, I could totally hear what you were saying,” Alex said, with a slight smile on his face.

Josh woke up in his nice castle the next day, and decided to go to Jane’s house for the big party before the wedding. But then he remembered she was kidnapped. He had told Alex and Fletcher to meet him at his front door at 10:00 in the morning. What time was it now? Josh thought.
Josh heard the doorbell ring. He got dressed and went outside to see Fletcher and Alex. “Hey, do you have the staff?” question Josh.
Fletcher held up the stick. “Yeah,” he replied. He then lowered the staff.
“Do you have the map?” Josh asked Alex.
“Like I would forget,” Alex said, holding up the map.
“Then let’s go!” Josh exclaimed.
The three of them set off on their long journey, but neither of them knew where to go. Alex kept staring at the map and going the wrong way.
It was about an hour later when they finally saw a little house in the woods unlocked. But of course it was unlocked, not too many people had locks back then. The three went inside the mini cabin, all holding the staff. And like King Samuel said, they all were transported to The Lost City.
It was a nice little place with little fairies floating around every step they turned. They decided to go over to a real person. They finally found one after a long search. He was a tall man with a yellow beard, a black cap, and sword with a skull on the front of it.
“We come from Saradomin,” Josh said to the big man.
“And?” responded the big man.
“Errr… Do you know us?” asked Josh.
“You don’t look like anyone I would like to meet,” answered the big man.
Josh knew Alex was mad about that. He thought of words to say before ten seconds, or else that would mean the conversation was over. “Got any gem faces?” asked Josh.
“No, buzz of,” the big man stated.
The three of them turned around to walk away, but not Fletcher. He was more interested in the dirt.
“Let’s go!” shouted Josh.
Fletcher reached into the dirt and grabbed a dusty object. Fletcher blew on it, and wiped off the dirt. Josh and Alex then realized it was a sapphire… with a face of King Syon on it! They had found their first gem.
“You’re a genious!” exclaimed Josh.
“I actually just saw it stuck in the dirt,” replied Fletcher.
They all looked at it for a minute. Josh knew they had to break it, but it seemed dumb. What idiot would break a gem? Josh thought. But then he realized that was why gems were supposed to be broken. King Syon knew that no one would destroy a gem, and Josh had to give him credit for that.
Josh took it from Fletcher, held it for a minute, then he set it on the ground, and with all his might, he bashed the sapphire in half. And in the main castle of Zamarak, a lock came off. They all stood there for a second, then Fletcher felt something. The big man that they were talking to earlier was putting his hand on Fletcher! Fletcher met eye contact with him, and from the looks of it, he wasn’t too happy.
“Why did you break that!!!” the big man cried.
“It’s a long story,” Fletcher answered.
“I’m going to bash your head open!” the big man shouted. He raised his long, deadly, bloody sword into the air, and boom. He knocked Fletcher to the ground.
“What was that for!?” Fletcher exclaimed.
“Think before you smash a gem, all gems go to me, the dictator of this dumb place. I rule everything here!” the big man stated.
“You’re a dictator? You should be gutted!” Josh cried! He was now moving his hand towards his sword.
“Why do you care what I do with this dumb?” replied the big man.
“He’s a got a point,” added Alex.
“No he doesn’t,” Josh responded.
“No, I mean his sword has a point,” Alex told Josh.
Josh stared at him. He then finally drew out his sword. “Fight me,” Josh said.
The big man laughed. You think you can actually beat me!?” the big man said.
“Let’s find out,” Josh answered.
The big man then knew he was serious. He stopped laughing and took out his big axe and put away the sword with a skeleton on it. He swung the axe at Josh, but Josh was too quick. Josh took out his bow and arrow and aimed it not towards the big man, but a rock from the ceiling of the little underground cave. Josh shot his arrow at it, and the rock toppled onto the big man’s head. He was dead.
“Nice battle,” Fletcher said.
Josh looked at Alex to receive a compliment, but Alex pretended he saw nothing great. “Let’s go,” Josh finally decided to say.
The three of them started walking, but were stopped by the queen fairy. “Thank you,” the queen fairy said. “Take this, it’s a magic bow, it let’s you fire two times faster than you normally do, and it let me tell you, that was one heck of a fight.”
“Thank you,” Josh responded. He looked her, and she smiled. “Well, I guess we gotta go.”
“Fair well,” the queen fairy said.
Josh, Fletcher, and Alex exited The Lost City to see a bunch of men fighting. The king had declared the war finally. This was it, they would finally stop the troubles of Zamarak, and most importantly, get Josh’s girlfriend back. But from the looks of it, Saradomin was losing. Josh than made up a reason for it, Guthix wasn’t fighting, he decided.
“Let’s get those idiots!” Alex exclaimed!
“No, guys, we gotta find those gems!” Josh said.
“What, to save your girlfriend? She’s only one useless person,” Alex replied.
Josh was angry at this, but he knew arguing was going to make the journey worse. He looked out in the distance to see a skinny teenager owning everyone. He saw a necklace around him, and then Josh realized that it was the emerald with a face of King Syon on it. Without saying anything, Josh ran into the battle field, past the barricades, past the half dead men, past the howling dogs, and straight towards the skinny teenager.
“Joshua Sython Zamington,” the skinny teenager said.
Josh hated when people called him by his full name. “I don’t want to hurt some sixteen year old, just give me the necklace,” Josh decided to say.
“Never!” the skinny boy exclaimed. He then ran towards Josh with his sword, but Josh put his elbow out and nailed him in the stomach.
“Necklace or death?” Josh asked.
“Death!” the boy replied, as he got up. He ran towards him again, but this time Josh threw him into the ground. He got up again.
Josh decided this was his last chance. “This is your last chance.
The boy didn’t listen, he ran towards him, with his sword out. As the boy came near Josh, he moved out of the way, so the boy was facing the opposite direction of him, Josh. He stabbed from the back, the boy fell on his knees, then to the ground, and died. Josh felt a little sorry for him though.
“Nice!” Fletcher said, as he and Alex ran towards Josh. “Destroy the necklace now.”
Josh didn’t even bother to take the necklace off the dead boy’s body. He smashed the emerald while it was still on his bloody neck.
“Maybe we can get all of them today,” Fletcher said.
“Maybe,” Josh replied with a sad look on his face. Josh turned his back to only see Fletcher. “Where’s Alex?” He searched around more. He then realized after ten seconds that Alex had deserted them.
“Alex!” Josh and Fletcher shouted in unison. “Alex!” they shouted again.
“I guess he just didn’t want to be with us,” Fletcher said, shrugging. He picked up a berry from the ground and put it in his mouth. After three short seconds, he spit it out. “I ate a ruby!” Fletcher said, jumping. Josh approached him. “Oh wait, it’s just a berry.” Josh didn’t even smile at his little joke he played on him. He got excited for a second.
Alex ran away from Josh and Fletcher, Josh was in a terrible mood, and Fletcher was… Well Fletcher was just Fletcher. They had two gems were destroyed, at least that gave Josh some cheering up, but not enough.

Josh woke up the next day in a dirty place with men staring at him. He had not remembered what happened last night. He saw Fletcher sitting next to him. And he could see Alex to the right of him. Josh tried to move his hands towards his sword, but his hands were tied together. He thought if he should say something or be quiet. He did not want to upset the look on the men’s angry faces. There was about six, but Josh couldn’t really count- he needed his sleep to do that.
“Welcome to Hell, Josh!” one of the men exclaimed.
“What!? Hell!? I’m dead!?” Josh question and exclaimed thrice.
“No, it was… uhhh… I forget the word for it, but that’s not the point,” the same man before answered. “Were from Zamarak, and you three are going to stay in here to rot ‘til your death!” he laughed.
“I trusted you!” Alex shouted back.
The door closed, and the men left them in the darkness to rot. What a terrible death!
“What did you mean by that?” Josh asked.
Alex didn’t answer.
“Alex!” Josh snapped.
Alex chose not to answer again.
“Fletcher, what happened last night?” Josh questioned.
“I don’t know. I was just getting drunk with you, until… I ended up in here!” Fletcher told Josh.
“That never happened,” Josh responded.
“I know, but when were not training or saving the world, that’s were doing,” Fletcher replied.
“True,” Josh said, smiling, but no one could see him smiling in one of the darkness places on Earth.
Fletcher stood up and turned on the lights.
“How did you do that?” Josh.
“It was easy, I just loosened the straps,” Fletcher told Josh, smiling.
“Well don’t just stand there, loosen mine, too,” Josh snapped. He was so happy he could kiss Fletcher. After ten or twenty seconds, Josh’s was off, too.
Fletcher turned to Alex, but wondered if he should just leave him there. Without asking Josh, he went to Alex and took his off. But Alex didn’t move or say anything, he just started throwing rocks at the wall. “Let’s go!” exclaimed Fletcher. But Alex didn’t budge, he just kept throwing rocks at the wall, all making the same annoying sound, but one made more of a “clunk” sound.
“What was that?” questioned Josh. He didn’t wait for an answer, not that he would get one anyways. Josh went towards the rock Alex had recently thrown. And no doubt about it, it was the ruby with the face of King Syon on it. Josh raised his sword, and boom! The ruby with the face of King Syon was broken.
“Awesome work, Alex!” Fletcher told Alex. But Alex didn’t care what compliments were given to him, he was still more interested at throwing rocks at the wall.
“Let’s go,” Josh said. “Alex, you coming?” Josh asked.
There was no reply from Alex.
“Let’s just go, Fletcher,” Josh finally said.
Fletcher and Josh left the jail cell and into the halls of the main castle of Zamarak. Josh and Fletcher saw Zack running towards them. Josh smiled. Zack was a friend of theirs from the side of Guthix. Josh then realized that there was a big war in the castle.
Zack swung his sword at Josh. Josh dodged it. “What are you trying to do, kill me?” asked Josh.
“Sorry,” answered Zack. Josh gave him and awkward look. “We went to Zamarak’s side for more protection. I’m sorry, I gotta try to kill you.” He swung his sword again, and Josh dodged it again.
“You don’t have to be on their side!” exclaimed Josh.
“Not unless you can kill King George,” Zack responded.
“Then I will,” Josh replied. “And will you stop swinging your sword at me, you’re horrible at fighting!”
“Josh, even we can’t kill King George,” Fletcher said.
“Sure we can, I’m the best fighter,” Josh told Fletcher.
“Fighter,” Fletcher stated. “He’s a mage!”
“Yeah, but I have a good feeling that he has the diamond, and King Syon has the pearl. So we’ll have to anyways,” Josh responded.

The two determined men walked up to the top floor to see the two kings sitting all perched up on their chairs, smiling at both of them. And to their luck, the door opened to reveal Alex. “I’m sorry, guys,” Alex apologized.
“No problem,” Josh said, patting his back.
“Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome!” King Syon said, happily. “My friend, George, has the diamond, and I have the pearl.”
“Told ya,” Josh whispered to Fletcher.
“But there’s one problem,” King Syon said. “You have to kill us to get it.” But I’m a nice man, I’ll let you fall in defeat to King George first, and if you some how manage to kill him, you can then fight me. One on three, that’s fair, isn’t it? And remember, once, and if, King George dies, the next battle begins. But let’s not talky, talky, talky.
“Actually, you’re doing all the tal-“
“Let’s fight!” King Syon interrupted. King Syon sat down in his chair, and King George arose from his chair with his air staff in his hand.
“I’m no mage,” King George said. “I’m a wizard.” And with that, he cast Wind Wave at Alex. Alex flew to the wall, uncautious, most likely.
Josh moved left, then right. He didn’t know what to do! A Water Wave came towards Josh, but Josh some how managed to dodge it. He then thought of a plan. “Remember,” Josh whispered to Fletcher, “We only need the diamond.”
Fletcher was about to say something, but knew that they, King George and King Syon, would here. Fletcher looked at Josh, and he could sort of tell what he was doing. Josh got out his bow and arrow and aimed it at King George. Fletcher knew he should make a distraction. Fletcher ran towards the wizard and was nailed in the stomach by his staff. Fletcher was lying on the grounding, staring at King George. He saw something really fast hit his chest and brake off his necklace. Fletcher grabbed the necklace, got up, and ran, while King George was still in pain.
Fletcher and Josh ran downstairs. King Syon was going to go down, too, but he remembered that it was only three on one. So King George got up, still in pain, and walked downstairs. Josh and Fletcher were hiding to the right of the twentieth floor (The floor below the top floor.) When King George finally reached the downstairs, a slash came from the right of him. It was Josh’s sword. King George fell face to the ground, and died. Josh walked around the dead body for a couple of seconds. “Where the heck is the diamond!?”
“You mean it’s not there” question Fletcher.
“No!” Josh exclaimed. “Oh wait, it’s in my pocket.” Josh took the diamond out of his pocket, and with his sword, he smashed it. Josh then heard someone coming down the stairs. And then Josh remembered King Syon’s words; Once, and if, King George dies, the next battle begins. No, wait, that wasn’t it. It was something like that though. Close enough, Josh though. Josh realized what the noise was. “Fletcher!” Josh shouted.
Fletcher turned his head, to see King Syon coming down the stairs. Josh ran towards King Syon, but he was kicked down by him. King Syon was now ready to deal with Fletcher. King Syon stabbed Fletcher as Fletcher was reaching for the pearl of King Syon’s face on it. Fletcher fell backwards, and out the window he was next to. He fell to the ground and most likely died.
“Fletcher!” Josh shouted as loud as he could. “You stupid, fat, ugly monster!” Josh roared at King Syon, as he got up.
“That’s no way to call your… father,” King Syon responded, smiling.
“What?” Josh questioned.
“Oh, nothing,” King Syon answered.
“Tell me!” Josh demanded.
“Okay, you worthless runt!” King Syon roared. “I’m your father. It all started when I met your mother at a bar,” King Syon said.
“Farther into the story, please,” Josh said.
“Okay, okay, but that’s the only good part, if you know what I mean,” King Syon said. “They were serving beer for a dollar!” he whispered. “Ever wonder why your name was Joshua Sython Zamington? But here’s the real story… I had you until you were two months old. I gave you to a man because I was going to a great war, and thought this castle might be destroyed, but it’s not, as you can see. I didn’t come back until four months later, which meant the man had spent more time with you than me. Odd, but I wanted to get you back. So I went to look for the man, but I realized he was a worthless Saradomin that wouldn’t give him back. So that’s why we hate Saradomin, it’s because of you. If it wasn’t for you, we would have never hurt your town, but that foolish man did. And you started a war over your greed, to get your girlfriend back. What greed, I’m glad your not my son,” King Syon finished.
“Wow…” Josh responded.
“It doesn’t matter anymore, you’re going to die,” King Syon replied. King Syon raised his sword, and Josh knew that there was no way out of this, but he fell over, and Josh could see an arrow in his back. It was Alex.
“Alex! You’re okay!” Josh exclaimed, happily.
“Yup!” Alex said.
King Syon raised his head. He was still alive. Josh stabbed in one more time.
“Dang it!” Alex roared! “I thought I was the hero, I got to kill the king, but you did.”
“Come on, Alex, you did most of it, you can destroy the pearl,” Josh replied.
“No, Josh. Have all the fame, good bye!” Alex roared. And without another word, Alex left.
Josh raised his sword, and hammered the pearl with the face of King Syon on it. The last lock had finally come off. He could get his girlfriend back. He searched around the castle until he reached floor ten. Dang, it was so obvious that it would end in a zero or five, Josh thought, as he opened the door. He saw his girlfriend, and was never so happy in his life. She was hung from chains, her feet with dangling in the air. He ran up to her, and started to hug and kiss her. “Where’s the key?” Josh asked.
“Near the corpse,” Jane answered.
Josh went near the corpse, got the key, and unlocked Jane from the chains. Jane fell down onto the ground. Josh helped her up. “Listen,” Josh said. “There’s a war still going on in the castle, we need to get out of here… now!”
Josh and Jane walked down a flight of steps, but there were too many men fighting on the ninth floor. “I got and idea,” Josh said. Josh and went onto the twenty-first floor, and looked for a rope. “There’s gotta be a rope around here some where!” Josh roared.
“I have one,” a voice said.
“Alex!” Josh exclaimed. He had never been so happy to see Alex in his life. “Give it here.”
“Did you say please?” Alex questioned mysteriously.
“What the heck are you talking about?” Josh asked.
“That was a horrible line,” Alex said. “But of course I can make a mistake, and Josh can’t… because he’s perfect. Well I’m going to end this now!” he roared. He raised his bow with an arrow in it.
“Alex, think about this…” Josh said, calmly.
“No, no way, plead, you worthless runt,” Alex said, as he aimed the bow at Jane.
“Alex, please!” Josh screamed.
But it was too late. He shot Jane in the heart. Blood was coming out fast. “No!!!” Josh shouted! “I’ll kill you! I’ll flipping kill you!” Josh roared even louder.
“I’m sorry Josh, but you have to die, too,” Alex said. “And I’ll keep the lucky bow I kill you with forever! And I’ll take credit for everything for now on! Good bye, Joshua Sython Zammington!” Alex raised his bow, and let the arrow fly into Josh’s heart. Joshua Sython Zammington was most likely dead in a matter of seconds.

Alex did what he said; he grabbed the arrow out of Josh and kept it forever. Everyone asked him why he kept the arrow, and he would always say it was the arrow he killed King Syon with. “A great fighter’s skill is in the arrow now, and when I use it, I never miss!” he would say. And he didn’t. Alex became the center of attention, which was completely unfair. But not everything is fair, and even though Alex did eventually become the king, that didn’t mean that he wouldn’t be stopped.
