The Lake

first i am always nervous to click on links with no warning or intro. i just click and hope it isn't going to be something that is going to scar me for life. so i was pleasantly surprised. i didn't watch any of the other films listed but i will later. i liked the music, and i thought it was a sad little story.

The lyrics are by Edgar Allen Poe. I saw the band play last night; their performance of that piece (on piano, accordion, violin, guitar, and cello) was excellent.

ok, i just googled it. so did someone with the band put together the video?
i would like to hear it with the other instruments as well, i liked the piano but i think it would be interesting with what you mentioned.

I liked both the music and the flash animation. I liked the music most of all; it's beautiful. It really sounds like another band. I can't remember the name. I'll have to ask my friend and get back to you on that one.

It sounded lousy on my laptop. I heard the "To his lone imagining" and it kindof connected. I'm sure it would be more enjoyable on a better speaker system.

Antony & The Johnsons.

You just missed the chance to see them live if you are anywhere near Dublin.

You can hear a few more of his stuff in xfm Sessions.
