Later in September The New Yorker is hosting a festival of all the arts it covers. Stephen King will be in a forum Sept. 23, Ian McEwan is in another, there's a bluegrass night with some great people, . . . trying to remember all the rest . . . Annie Proulx, Jonathan Franzen, Jeffrey Eugenides, TC Boyle, EL Doctorow, Michael Chabon, Zadie Smith, John Updike.

They've done this before, but this year's line-up really looks great. It's a mix of signings, panels, and interviews, etc. with a master class or two.
