We all know of sad events that go on in our world. I'm not arguing that we should ignore that kind of stuff, but we do need some positive news.

Here's one I'd like to share:

19 children find a new home on adoption day

That is a nice story. For those who don't know, Adoption Day is a national program to get thousands of foster children adopted. Most celebrating courts schedule all adoptions in the pipeline for that day. It makes for a much more celebratory atmosphere than you find most days in court. This year two hundred seven children in Massachusetts were adopted. A close friend, with whom I had dinner tonight, was invited to the courthouse for one of these adoptions. She said it was a festival-like atmosphere and very exciting for all of the families there.

That is truly an amazing story. And thank god those kids were found. Whathet parents must have gone through in worry!. Just think how many other kids are in the situation!.
