The Representation of Women in Literature

Hello from Paradise! (At least that's what some folks call Miami.) If you read my profile you will see that I am a graduate student working on my master's thesis. I currently run a blog, called Modern Matriarch, dedicated to the discussion of female writers, the representation of women in literature, and feminism.

I enjoying blogging because it keeps me motivated as a writer. Although Modern Matriarch is doing well, the blog forum is not as interactive as I had hoped. That's why I am here.

I would like to discuss literature as well as write about it. Would anyone here be interested in discussing how women express themselves as writers or how women are represented in literature?
