The Stand . Uncut version

I read the Stand when it 1st came out. It had became one of my most favorite books of all.
I dont remember the release date as it was some time ago.
I am considering doing a reread on the Stand in the Uncut version. Has anyone compared the two? is there much more added to the uncut?

I've read neither but I'd think the Cut version would be better, since it reduces the volume of King's pointless ramblings to something a little more concise.

I've only read the uncut version but I skimmed parts of the original and I'd say you're probably better off with uncut. I really like Stephen King and I think he added a lot of really great character development and refinement to the uncut version. Since the characters in his stories hold the principal appeal for me, I like more of that stuff

hm i dunno. it wouldn't hurt to try. i agree with stewart though, some parts must've been cut for a reason
